Taylor Swift and Katy Perry end their past feud with a kind gesture.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have reportedly rekindled their friendship after setting aside their years-long feud. During the start of the Eras Tour in Sydney, heavy rainfall at the Accor Stadium caused a delay of an hour. Despite the delay, Taylor's old friend Katy Perry, along with singer Rita Ora, occupied VIP seats at the show, as reported by The Mirror.

Katy Perry confirmed the news through an Instagram post where she wrote, "Got to see an old friend shine tonight," alongside a sweet selfie of the pair taken at the show. This reconciliation follows past reports suggesting that Katy had poached some of Taylor's backup dancers for her own tour.

In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor Swift had expressed uncertainty about their relationship, saying, "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not." She recalled instances where Katy would approach her at awards shows, leaving her unsure of their dynamic. Taylor interpreted certain actions as insults, leading her to believe they were enemies, alluding that the conflict was business-related rather than personal.
